Tossed this in my daughter's backpack with ice water at 8am, and by pickup time it was still properly cold, not just lukewarm. The double-walled stainless steel body has survived a few drops onto the kitchen floor without a dent too.

My daughter has been using this bottle for school and the vacuum insulation really works—her water stays cold even after lunch. The leak-proof straw lid is a lifesaver in her backpack, no spills at all.

The straw lid really does lock tight—I tossed it in my son’s backpack upside down and nothing leaked, which is a win. It keeps his water cold through a full school day, though I wish the lid were a bit easier for small hands to pop open.
