The tapered base actually fits my car's cupholder, which my old straight-sided tumbler never did. Ice from my morning coffee was still rattling around at 3pm, and the outside stayed completely dry.

Took this on a two-hour drive and the tapered base slid right into my cupholder without wobbling. The handle makes it easy to grab one-handed, and after four hours the ice hadn't melted much at all.

Filled it with ice water before a 6am hike and there was still ice rattling around by noon. The handle is genuinely useful when my hands are full, and no condensation ring on my desk.
