The silicone base is a small thing but it means I can set this down on my desk without that loud clank. It actually fits in my car's cupholder too, which my last bottle never did.

The silicone base is what sold me — I set it down on my desk every morning and it doesn't make that loud clang my old bottle did. Fits in my car's cupholder too, which was the whole reason I switched. The covered spout keeps dust off between sips.
